The International Kiko Goat Association Supports Producers Testing for Performance on Forage Tests.
The IKGA endorses the following three forage-based buck performance tests: AMGA Range Performance Test, Oklahoma Forage Based Buck Test, and the Western Maryland Pasture-Based Meat Goat Performance Test. The IKGA has established the "IKGA Buck Performance Test Awards" for any IKGA member that consigns any type or breed of buck that places first, second, or third oveA member if arall in any of these three tests. Award amounts are as follows: 1st place - $100 2nd place - $75 3rd place - $50 An extra $50 bonus will be awarded to an IKGny of these top three bucks have been registered through the IKGA as an AP or NZ buck (i.e. 94% or above) prior to the beginning of the performance test. Multiple awards to the same IKGA member are allowed. These awards are only available to those consignors who are IKGA members in good standing prior to the beginning of each performance test. Awards will only be given to bucks, not wethers, that are entered in the three forage-based buck performance tests named above. Final rankings of bucks will be determined by the test organizers and their decisions are final.
